TPA Bappenas is a type of academic potential test (TPA) developed by the Autonomous Test Organizing Business Unit (UUO PT) of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas).

The results of the Bappenas TPA are used by various educational institutions and companies as entrance selection standards. This test is often also called TPA OTO Bappenas.

Bappenas TPA is now not only used for Masters and Doctoral scholarships abroad. The following is an example of an entrance selection using the Bappenas TPA.

  • Master's and Doctoral programs at domestic public and private universities
  • Acceptance of new employees
  • Position transfers/promotions by departments/non-departmental institutions at the central and regional levels as well as BUMN/BUMD
  • Transfer/promotion in private companies

The Bappenas Employee Cooperative provides a special unit that provides TPA and several other tests, namely the Autonomous Test Organizing Business Unit (UUO PT).

This unit provides question books, answer sheets, supervisors, score assessment, and grade submission. However, the passing score limit is determined by the institution that conducts the test.
