Advocate professional education is a form of education specifically designed to train prospective advocates or lawyers to have the knowledge, skills and ethics needed to carry out legal practice professionally. This educational approach focuses on the practical application of the law and their preparation to become members of the bar (bar organization) in a jurisdiction or country. The requirements and targets for implementing Advocate Professional Education include:
- Bachelor of Law graduates (S1):
Before being able to enter professional education as a lawyer, a person usually must have a law degree or equivalent, which is obtained through a law degree program at a university or college.
- Material taught may include legal ethics, legal research, legal writing, negotiation, mediation, and court preparation.
